“In the biggest languages, the voices sound nearly human.”
Review on Capterra , 1 December 2022
“…an impressive natural-like array of voices and great customer support.”

Romanian has five letters with marks: ă, â, î, ș and ț. Without them the voice may read a different word: fata is the girl but față is face, and peste means over while pește is fish. Text from older systems may use ş and ţ with a cedilla; replace them with the comma forms and preview.
and î stand for the same sound. Î starts or ends a word, as in înainte or a coborî, and â sits inside it, as in când and român. The definite article is joined to the end of a noun, so om becomes omul. Stress is not marked and can change meaning: cópii are copies, while copíi are children. If the voice picks the wrong one, rephrase or use the pronunciation dictionary.
With twenty and most larger numbers, Romanian puts de between a number and its noun: nouăsprezece minute, but douăzeci de minute. Preview figures inside sentences, and write one out if it sounds wrong. Decimals take a comma (2,5), thousands a point (10.000), and months are lower case, as in 1 decembrie. Write dumneavoastră in full rather than dvs., and keep tu for casual ads.

Yes, on a paid plan: paid plans include commercial rights, and the Free plan is for personal and evaluation use only. Starter costs $5 for the first month, then $19 a month.
Preview the line first. If a number, date or abbreviation comes out wrong, write it the way it should be spoken, or add it to the pronunciation dictionary, which is on every plan. One entry fixes that word across the whole project.
It works, but the voice has to guess. Without ă, â, î, ș and ț, many words look like other words, so a sentence can come out with the wrong meaning or a flat, foreign sound. Type the full spelling, or fix pasted text before you preview. A Romanian keyboard layout on your computer or phone makes this quick.
Yes. Romanian is the official language of Moldova and is written the same way there. The voices use the standard pronunciation of Romania, which Moldovan listeners understand easily, though they may notice the accent is not local. Preview Moldovan place names and any regional words, and check that dates and addresses follow local habits.
