“In the biggest languages, the voices sound nearly human.”

“…an impressive natural-like array of voices and great customer support.”

Brazilian and European Portuguese share a spelling agreement but sound very different. Brazilians give unstressed vowels their full value, and in most of the country t and d before an i soften, so tia sounds close to chia. Choose this voice style for Brazilian viewers, customers and students.
Write Brazilian words and grammar. It is ônibus, trem, celular and café da manhã, where Portugal says autocarro, comboio, telemóvel and pequeno-almoço. Brazilians write estou fazendo rather than estou a fazer, and put the pronoun first in speech, as in Me liga amanhã. Accents differ too: Brazil writes Antônio and econômico with a circumflex.
Most brands address listeners as você, and a gente often replaces nós in casual scripts. Keep o senhor and a senhora for banks, health care and older audiences. Numbers use a comma for decimals and a point for thousands, so 1.500 means fifteen hundred. English marketing words like delivery and feedback are common; if one is misread, add it to the pronunciation dictionary.

They will understand it, since Portuguese viewers hear Brazilian telenovelas and music all the time, but it will not sound local. Vowels, vocabulary and pronoun placement all mark it as Brazilian. For an audience in Portugal, write in European Portuguese and use the Portuguese page.
Use você for a national audience. Tu is heard in the South, in Rio de Janeiro and in parts of the North and Northeast, often with the verb form used for você, as in tu vai. That mix suits a regional ad. Keep possessives such as seu and teu consistent.
