“In the biggest languages, the voices sound nearly human.”

“…an impressive natural-like array of voices and great customer support.”

Hong Kong English follows British spelling, a legacy of colonial rule: colour, centre, programme and harbour. Government notices, schools and the English-language press use it, so match it in captions and on-screen text. Dates are written day first, and prices are in Hong Kong dollars, so write amounts in words.
Place names are romanised Cantonese and often break English spelling rules. Preview Tsim Sha Tsui, Kwun Tong, Wan Chai and Sai Kung. Many people also use an English given name, such as Winnie or Kelvin, with a Chinese surname like Chan, Wong or Leung. If a name comes out wrong, set its reading in the pronunciation dictionary.
Everyday Hong Kong English borrows local terms. People say "add oil" to cheer someone on, and the red and green minibuses are officially public light buses. Speech often switches between Cantonese and English mid-sentence, but these voices read English, so keep Cantonese phrases short and preview them. For a warmer promo, try the Emotional voice with one of its emotion presets.

No. Cantonese is the main spoken Chinese language in Hong Kong. Hong Kong English is English as people there speak it, often alongside Cantonese, with local words. These voices read English; for a Cantonese script, choose Cantonese in the language list.
Teams that reach Hong Kong audiences in English: banks and insurers with bilingual hotlines, developers presenting new flats, international schools and tourist attractions. A local accent sounds familiar to residents and pairs well with a Cantonese version of the same message.
