Welsh, or Cymraeg, has its own alphabet of 29 letters. Eight are pairs that count as one letter: ch, dd, ff, ng, ll, ph, rh and th. Single f sounds like v and ff like f, and w and y are often vowels, as in cwm and dyn. A circumflex lengthens a vowel and can change the word: tân is fire, tan means until.
Welsh changes the first letter of a word after certain words, and the change is written. Caerdydd becomes i Gaerdydd (to Cardiff) and yng Nghaerdydd (in Cardiff), and fy nhad means my father. Machine translation often gets these mutations wrong. Ask a Welsh speaker to check the script before you produce the final audio.
Schools teach a decimal way of counting, so fifteen is un deg pump, while older speakers may say pymtheg. Choose one style for the script. Month names are Welsh, such as Hydref for October. Use chi for the public and ti for friends and children. For English names, set the reading in the pronunciation dictionary.

Many notices in Wales are bilingual. Keep each language in its own line or block and give each one a voice in that language: a Welsh voice for the Welsh, and an English or Welsh English voice for the English. Preview both before you finish.
